Yes, I think we can all agree, Welcome Back Norman was the runaway smash hit of the show.
My brother and his fiancee are using the argument "chicken is chicken and politics is politics". Can you please rip this limb from limb? You're better at this than I am.
It's very simple. When your chicken fucks with my politics, your chicken just became politics.
Chick-Fil-A throws money at anti-gay rights organizations. Their CEO claims God is shaking his fist at America because of sinful behavior. Is this a company funneling profit to industry-related lobbying, say agriculture?
In fact, they're actively discriminating against employees and potential employees, and are being sued for discrimination -- besides hating gay people as extra-curricular sport. As I said before, a company dumps pollutants into a river and a company dumps money into anti-gay organizations -- both are harmful to large groups of people.
By mixing their chicken with politics, politics are now mixed up with their chicken.
Ask the fifty homophobes on this list if their motivation was hateful politicking or fried chicken. Or this guy.
So yeah, usually chicken is chicken and politics are politics. But Chick-Fil-A blew that out of the water. And those who went to Chick-Fil-A to make a point about the gays or whatever -- enjoy your chicken before it tastes like crow.
