‘‘Nostalgia’‘

Revisited this older piece from 2014. Some things always bothered me and I like to rivisit older pieces sometimes, to look at them with the knowledge I have now.

This piece is called ‘’Nostalgia’’  because dandelions  hold a special place in my memories, as I used to play a lot in huge fields with them and make necklaces with my sister. They are a symbol of childhood, innocence and Spring to me. Endless beautiful days... Also after Winter I would see a bumblebee awaken and I thought it was the same one every year and thought my little friend had returned.

I daydream about my future home often. It's always just me, in a beautiful little home I've made my own. I have a small dog and two cats. I try to make sure I don't kill my plants. A small TV in the lounge, a radio outside, lots of lamps. There's some vague organisation to the book piles scattered around. I have too many mugs for one person and never enough bowls. I decorate my home with the many things that bring me comfort and I make sure I have everything my fur friends and I could need. Inside my home I am safe, I am loved, I am content in myself. Oh! I have such a lovely home.
