Examination One - Standard Checkup
To start our examination of 00712 - Fleetwood, we began with a standard physical exam, as one might receive at any doctor's visit. Provided below are the reported measurements taken, along with photographed documentation of specimen.
Name: Fleetwood Saigon
Age: N/A
Height: 7'9"
Weight: 472 lbs
Pulse/Blood Pressure: 50 BPM, 130/80
While blood pressure and bpm may seem unusual, a person as large as him may function optimally with stronger blood pressure
Distinctive Physical Characteristics:
Physique: Extremely muscular
Skin/Ethnicity: tan, Mediterranean/italian(????)
Eye color: orange
Hair: coily, mahogany, slightly matted. Claims he's "not done well recently".
Extra: two large horns along coronal suture, curving backwards - goatlike, teal in color. Face markings in same color, do not appear to be makeup. Birthmark on shoulder, superficial. Ears are pointed, elongated. Prolific body hair, which has been removed for sake of testing.
Extra (cont'd): Subject appears to have various piercings and an affinity for jewelry. Piercing locations; nose bridge, tongue, ear (multiple lobe and cartilage), nipple, navel, unmentionable.
Bloodwork, urinalysis, and microbiological panel will be returned next. Subject was difficult with phlebotomy. As of now it is clear he is humanoid, though there are some glaring differences which we will examine extensively, to determine where he may fit in human lineage.
Just finished watching a GOBB 8 playthrough and have something to say {GOBB 8 SPOILERS BELOW}
WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN BITTERGIGGLE IS THE ASSISTANT?? WHY DO YOU HATE ME??
I'm glad we all thought the same thing about how Toadster would go and sit at it to listen to his voice. (Also, him bringing up Bittergiggle first when talking about all the bad stuff that happened got me good)
Every single time he got mentioned, I was punching the air. Except for his stupid "RUN, YOU CLOWN!" during Miss Mimicker because at least that made me giggle.
Also, only a minute of Sheriff screen time? They're starving me!! But I suppose I will take all the crumbs I can get. At least he didn't die.
I just read the 1st chapter of Pick A Side and???? It's SO GOOD???? WHAR RHE HELL????? ITS WRITTEN SO NATURALLY???? IM IN LOVE WITH THIS FIC
Thank you guys for recommending it omfl
Speedwagon Foundation Anthropological Division - The Pillar Men Files
This is an introduction and masterlist to my speculative studies of the Pillar people because it's my passion! Please note that though much of this is based directly off the JJBA canon, almost all of the biological aspects are works I have created myself so please handle with care, and no hate, this is all for fun!!
Recently it has been found that another species of hominid has been discovered - however it's discovery has come at an unexpectedly drastic cost, lives of foundation workers have been lost as of recent due to our circumstance.
This new species has been dubbed Homo lapideus, or 'the Pillar Man', and up until now has been dubbed nothing but myths, tales of giants in ancient times may well be true. Even among early hominids, it seems these beings are ancient. It is a wonder why no remains had been found in our numerous digs and explorations, but it seems now we have begun to get answers. We have been advised to not refer to it as a specimen, and has insisted on being called by name, a one Fleetwood Saigon has undergone extensive interviewing and biological testing and as of right now is the only active one of the species, and has been a willing participant* for the sake of furthering human knowledge.

First Interview - Specimen 00712
"Pillar man"
In truth, this discovery was made accidentally. Though our anthropological division had made many revolutionary discoveries especially in the field of human evolution, this was not something we had anticipated.
Talk of giants, cannibals, and godlike figures have always been in discussion, though always left to mythology and religious sections. There have been accounts, both ancient and modern (Some of which we have documented), of incidents coming into contact with beings like this. It was never anticipated we would actually come across living proof.
That being said, somewhat recently, a close partner of the foundation may have had her own run-in, which we have now pulled in for questioning.
This document details the following recorded discussion.
Tape recorded interview
Interviewer; Phillip ███████, Senior SPWF Anthropologist
Interviewee; Specimen 00712
Topic; Introductory questioning

SPWF
This is a recording, conducted by Dr. Phillip ███████ at the anthropological research facility in █████████████████████. Please state your full name, sex, and age.
00712
I... Don't understand. What is the purpose of this?
SPWF
This interview is for scientific posterity...um... sir. You are a human, correct?
00712
No, sir. I am not. Are you studying me?
SPWF
Yes, we are. And you are aware of this then. You seem well adjusted. Could you please state your full name, sex, age, as well as what species you are if not human?
00712
Very well. [pauses] Fleetwood Saigon. Male, I suppose. I am far too old to discuss, at least that you would know, and I am unsure what [pause] species you categorize me as.
SPWF
I see. We can provide you with more information before a future interview. Now. Will you tell me where you're from? How long have you been in █████████████ and how did you get here?
00712
This city... I have been here for at least I believe a few months. Or maybe... maybe it was years. Though, when I first laid to rest it was not here. In fact, the water it seems has come in drastically since last I saw. What woke me up... Some strange little man relentlessly throwing things at me, until I awoke and frightened him.
SPWF
Ah... [continues notetaking]
00712
Where I came from... I'm not sure what it's called now, but I know it is further south, beautiful fertile land where the Romans at one point controlled, if they still inhabit it. I have been all across this world though, and have crossed the ocean more times than I could count.
SPWF
And... where have you gotten this information? If you say you have been asleep... as long as you may have?
00712
Well, I learn. Of course. Quicker than you humans, but I observe. I read. The languages, though I have yet to fine tune my vocabulary and adjust to modern naming, come naturally to me. English is hardly the first language I am to learn, and it will most certainly not be the last. [laughs] Most of my up to date knowledge comes from the romans, but I hope to catch up fully soon.
SPWF
When you say 'the romans', do you mean the roman empire?
00712
[laughs] oh, I wouldn't call that an empire, those pompous little things, but yes I assume we are talking about the same. I had been sent up north because of them, and that is when I fell asleep.
SPWF
And were you were there, were you still in childhood?
00712
Oh, no. Absolutely not, in fact I have not aged a day since that era. I am probably in my late years, at this point.
SPWF
[nods] Thanks for your... time, Mr. Saigon.
00712
[stands] Yes, of course.
SPWF
If you are interested, our facilities have extensive libraries you are welcome. Ah... On the condition that you please return to us when we call. We have several tests we would like to run, for the sake of research.
00712
Alright. I can leave now?
[tape cuts]
Skull Structure
Information given directly from 00712 Fleetwood.
"Have you had your horns since birth?" Yes, I have. They were very small when I was though, as you could imagine, they grew with me as I aged. You know, you have seen other horned animals, goats and things right? "Did every one of your kind have horns like yours?" Yes, and no. Well, most every one of us had horns, there was a great variety of them. Most inherited a very similar horn shape from their parents, but even that could come with a very wide range of shapes and sizes. "what kind of horn shapes have you seen? Was there a pattern to it?" I think... some of it depended on where we were located, where we came from, and also age. Um... For example, my mother. Um... She came from this Mediterranean area, and she had... very large horns, two on her crown and two small ones behind her ears... like a boar. My father though... From the central American area. His were on his temples, very straight up and not large. Some of them had one, some three, four... the most I'd seen is six or so, but most were relatively small. From what I had noticed... Those with smaller horns started to become more prevalent, a while before our extinction. Though I have no way of truly knowing, since many of them were much too young to tell what their full potential could be. "Did they serve any functional purpose? For example, fighting, or mating or courtship?" Um... Not particularly. Some I know did fight using them, but it really wasn't the normal thing for us. Just rowdy young ones. Some did have intimate preferences for certain horn configurations, I think that is why the small horned were becoming more populous, but again, just a preference. Oh, um, actually. We did adorn them, at least many of those around my mother did. Very fond of jewelry, bands, sometimes even engravements upon larger horns. I... Oh. I don't have any of mine... But I quite enjoy adorning my horns with gold.
Osteology report - Axial Skeleton
We present our observations upon receiving the results of our x-rays, as well as bone tissue sample examination and dentition. As with most humans and hominids, the general structure is relatively the same. The major differences we have observed are as follows. Horns: The most obvious biological difference, the structure is incredibly strong, rough textured. Internal scans showed that they are made of bone, with a hollow internal network very similar to that of a bird's bone, or even a toucan beak, incredibly lightweight but durable. Doesn't seem to have much marrow production, but an extremely thin network of nerves run within the periosteum, which provide some sensory abilities. It is very well possible that different horn shapes and types may have more or less of a nervous network. Skull Features: While most is the same, it appears the coronal suture and the frontal bone are more posterior, extended to accommodate the size of the horns. The mandible is slightly wider than the average human's, with a much wider range of motion to allow ample room for teeth and to be able to bite down on large prey. The external auditory meatus (the ear canal) is enlarged, as is the posterior end of the zygomatic process, where ear muscles are attached. (The ears of which have an ability to move more freely than a human's, picking up and processing more sound) Teeth: Larger area of jaw space gives the fourth molar, also known as the wisdom teeth, enough space that they don't grow in abnormally as they do in humans. The canine teeth are elongated like that of many predators, and contain micro serrations for better gripping. On the upper jaw, there is an extra set of canines, sub-canines smaller than those in front of it.
Vertebrae & Ribcage: Connections are surprisingly loose and flexible within costal cartilage, acromioclavicular joint is incredibly stretchy. Chest cavity in general seems broader, more boxy than that of humans. Similar to other, earlier hominids. (Imaging of the vertebral column and ribcage will be included with appendicular skeletal analysis)
Art by me, PLEASE DO NOT STEAL
{OOC}
I don't have much current art of them but I'm doing some doodles - Fleetwood's parents😋
I will talk about them later, when I figure out how I wanna go about it but unfortunately they will not play a very large part in the SPWF scientific study portion of my work, since they had not lived through the massacre (and were pretty old even as far as Pillars go anyway)
They'll probably be included in my non SPWF study though as Cetera is an example of the short-horned Pillars and part of where Kars and whatnot came from, and Marigold an example of the long-horned Pillars.... Fleetwood is not their only kid but Ill talk about the other two later, the baby being held is not Fleet :3
Say anything inappropriate about them and I WILL BLOCK YOU
