Just Some Stories I've Been Writing
Erik woke up, hugging his teddy-bear and his father’s muscular arms around him. The child began hitting his head against the chest of his parental, “Daddyyyy! Wake up!” He cried, until he could see his father’s emerald-green eyes staring at him, a familiar scowl on the older man’s face that always caused Erik to giggle. “What do you want Erik?” Julian sighed, Erik pouted, “I hungry!” Julian let out an annoyed sigh, and stood, putting on a shirt, and then picking up Erik, “Come on then.” He frowned, as his child kicked his feet happily his blue eyes sparkling.

Erik sat on his bed flipping through the pages of the photo album, he noticed some of the pictures were of him when he was only a baby, or from before he was even born, which made him wonder why it had the date it did on the spine. However, Erik had shook off that thought and was now looking at one of his favorites of the pictures, it was of his mother and father, and they were dressed elegantly, in a suit and a large ball gown. His mother appeared to be pregnant as Erik’s father held her in his arms, his hands resting on her large stomach. Erik ran the pad of his thumb across his mother’s smiling face, then turning over the picture he read the handwriting of, surprisingly, his father, ‘month 5, at party, March 10.’ Erik’s thoughts were interrupted by a large bang coming from down the hallway; he then returned the photos the book and slid the album into his bag. Then standing, he made his way down to his father’s bedroom door, curious what the sound was
