Something I’ve been thinking about for aaaaaages is that the crescent chick is maybe already pacted? Idk, her profile pic kind of looks like she has the little version of the insect demon horns like how Ava has Wrathia’s teen horns? And we know the hosts take on some attributes from their demons when they have a pact, though Ava didn’t get her actual horns until she drank the vial. So i think they may have already made a pact but she also might just be a type of alien that just has some kick ass horns ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’ve been thinking for a while that star dude is gluttony and he has the mushroom demon, crescent girl is greed with the insect demon and heart lady is sloth and has the sewing demon - though I’m not totally sure how the sloth/sewing stuff connects lmao especially since there appears to be a sleeping pill (??) in the vial with her colour and that fits with sewing even less asdfghjkl but time will tell!
Edit: They didn’t fit bc I was wrong asdfghjkl Star dude has gluttony but it’s not the mushroom demon, it’s the sewing demon and heart lady still has sloth but she has the mushroom demon. Which makes SO much more sense bc gluttony can also be categorised as hoarding and such which is exactly what it looks like the demon does with it’s sewn creatures. Man, I have no idea why I went from thinking that to changing my mind and switching them but one person kindly pointed out that the mushroom demon has been confirmed to be sloth!

Headcanon/theory: Crescent host will be the next Strategos, Seven, created to replace Six. Their silhouette and honeycomb background point at their affiliation to TITAN. Also the number seven seems to be a recurring motif in the comic (seven deadly sins, seven vials, Tuls has seven flowers). So they're going to be an antagonist at first, eventually joining the group.
That’d be super awesome tbh. Would also give the group someone who has a whole lot of knowledge about TiTAN’s inner circle that could be pretty integral in taking the dude down, especially if they keep up the pretence of still being loyal to TiTAN. And let’s be real, Gil doesn’t actually know a lot about TiTAN. He’s a blind follower, not a soldier, you know what I mean?
I’ve always assumed that the crescent chick was gonna be Iris lmfao it’s just right there and I always thought that the insect host specialises in poisoned honeys (*cough i have a theory that the poison Wrathia and Pedri used in their cursed wines came from him bc of all the crescents she coughs up afterwards and that constantly come off her ghost form cough*) and waxes, etc, which is probably a little too obvious but I think it’d be cool either way. Your HC/theory would be so damn cool tho!
hope it’s okay to send more than one!! but i have a feeling that crescent host will be linked to bees and scavengers, since they all share that hexagon motif. plus the honey gil was serving maggie was from iris farms (or smthn similar) also ive noticed that wrathia has a little crescent motif that you can see in early panels.. so that’s something to chew on.

Yeah, you’re totally right!! I was thinking the honey was gonna be connected to the crescent host as well, especially since it was drawn for a reason. I had this really, really random thought when I saw the crescents coming off Wrathia’s body as she was dying that the insect demon specialises in poisonous honey and that was the poison they used in their potions asdfghjkl And you can see a crescent, heart and circle pretty clearly on the egg too, so I definitely think those guys are going to be really important. I’m the worst, i just wanna know now lmao I think you’re definitely onto something!
My theory for you is that I think Nevy is actually an expert manipulator and is nowhere near as sweet as she comes off. Don’t get me wrong, I think she’s an awesome character and I don’t think it makes her bad or something, but I also think she’s been reaaaaaally sneaky.
Like, everyone sort of agrees that Nevy helping Gil with that test when he was younger was selfless but she’d been watching him for at least 7 (??I think) years at that point and I think she chose to show herself at that moment for a reason. It could just be a motherly thing like people think but idk. I don’t think any of these demons do anything without an ulterior motive, tho that could just be me being suspicious of them all.
I think she may have shown herself when Gil was vulnerable and desperate to create a dependency on her and we also know that demons can mess around with their hosts head even when they’re not pacted. How did Gil suddenly forget all of the course material he’d studied for days? I think Nevy would have realised he was the only way to figure out her life and made sure he got to a point where he promised that his only question to Titan would be answers for her.
All of her memories are super biased by her own feelings and I don’t think it’s a mistake that they all paint her as a victim and Wrathia and Pedri as the instigators.
