Getting ready for another short Crest Saga campaign and we're starting at tier 3. That means I get to set up a 3 crest synergy and I have the opportunity to use the experimental crests too, which means I can use the blood crest. Very excited to whittle away enormous amounts of HP and constantly restore HP so that my character can deal damage, buff himself, and debuff his opponent all at the same time.
For anyone else I've convinced to learn CS, I'm running life and aegis for my other crests. Aegis to max out my HP, life to constantly up my temp hp or restore permanent hp. The blood crest, currently, is primarily to substitute IP for hit points so I can push easier without getting corruption; also it lets me apply pierce on hit (I also get shielded when I hit by combining it with aegis). There's just lots of good synergy.
