A loud gasp and the splash of water falling to the ground was the only noise for the first few moments as Mimi stared ahead in shock. She glared up at the brunette, a large stupid grin on his face, hints of worry betraying in the twitch of his eyebrow as she got up from her suntanning spot.

“You’re dead, Taichi Yagami!” She yelled, dashing after him.

Mimi gave Taichi a sympathetic look. “Well, I’m not sure about alcohol, but there’s definitely tea.”

She took Taichi’s hand and gently tugged on him, encouraging him to follow. “As for cuddling, I think that’s a service I can definitely provide more successfully.”

Sora had just about been ready to give up on hearing from Taichi tonight when suddenly her phone began ringing. As she saw it was him calling she felt her heart begin to beat fast and a light blush to grace her cheeks. Taking a calming breath she picked up. “Hello?”

The sudden outburst from his junior surprised him, but really was he surprised when it came from Daisuke? He can say he’s gotten used to the sudden outbursts that came from the younger leader. The question brought a brow up in confusion, what brought on such a question? Of course he thought so, otherwise Taichi wouldn’t have handed him his goggles as the new leader. “Of course, Daisuke. I chose you as the leader, because I know you can do it. Why do you ask?”

-Whoops, Daisuke should have at least said hi before practically diving on the older teen like that, but his mind was too busy homing in on that words spoken to him by others. He needed clarification, from someone who wasn't Ken either because as much as Daisuke adored his partner, Ken would walk to the ends of the earth with him without a single complaint, others would be different.-

Just some people sayin' dumb things, that's all.

Then she takes his soccer ball and lightly taps it around. “I’m going to defeat this digimon with a soccer ball” Being uncoordinated with handling a rubber and polyester ball, Mimi accidentally steps on it and falls onto the bed when she tries to kick it.

With an embarrassed laugh she rolls over. “Or not.”

“Give me a minute.” Mimi mumbled while holding her head in her hands and waited for her mind to stop spinning. 

“I can’t really remember….” She trailed off while looking around to see if she could remember something.

"Kaa-san's not home yet, is she?" she asked, not answering his question. Hikari was exhausted, and her ribs hurt, and she smelled something unpleasant that she suspected was her.She just wanted to take a shower and go to sleep.

"Can you start the water for me? I'll be there in a minute." She leaned against the wall, intending to use it to keep her balance as she slid her shoes off, but a wave of dizziness overcame her. So sitting. Maybe she wanted to sit down too, before the shower and sleep.
