Corinne Dougham - Lady of Crestville
Well, you know her pretty well if you watched As Sims Go By - she is a member of the secret cartel, as well as the wife of Mayor Charloman C. Dougham. In fact, she is the original Dougham, she is even Lady of Crestville.
This is a low nobility peerage, but as the other Newcrest peerages expired, Corinne is currently the only noble peer of the district. Her ancestors never did it big - they started at selling spice in Myshuno, they were honored with the Pepper peerage early on, and their seat was the Salt House. However, the male line vanished, and the Lord of Pepper is no more. Being the only peer of Newcrest, Corinne still dreams of becoming high nobility. She could become Baroness of Crestville, or of Crest, even, but it might look a bit fishy applying while her husband is the region’s Mayor.
They have 3 children, trips aged 13, and a house guest, Mirard Jumba, who rescued their daughter Wilhelmina from the wildlife in Selvadorada. They were of course grateful, and Charloman insisted on the poor old man living with them for a while. Corinne hates the man, he even insulted her for raising the triplets in a poor way, and she called him bad things... They hardly spoke after that event, and her biggest wish is that the jungle man shall leave them - for good!.
Today Mirard toughed her to fertilize the garden plants, though. She is amazed by his skills and manners, and being the Patron of Crest Horticultural Society, she really should know about fertilizing. But she is more interested in her Newcrest shopping mall than gardening.
There is no doubt who is the boss of this house. There are also numerous large paintings and photos of the Lady of Crestville, not so many of the other household members. Charloman has the Lord title, but he doesn’t care a lot, he focus the more on their children.
Tonight they celebrated Charloman’s Adult birthday! It was just the family, but at least he got a birthday cake - that he baked himself. Corinne turns 60 this year, and she might throw a propper party later on.
First she wants to get rid of the old Mirard Jumba...
