My inspiration is based on the feminine fragility, a blank stare and the internal universe of someone full of thoughts.
Sometimes we have a tough time and get lost in our minds. Nature always give us clarity and wash our head of clouds.
I wanted something a bit more minimalistic in terms of colour.
I decided that I wanted a very detailed scene with flowers around the main character.

Inspired by walking through a stand of Banana Trees.
The light flecks through the large banana leaves and the bold lines are a striking contrast.
This is an original one off composition that has evolved from a series of pastel colour studies.
The repetitive silhouetted tree truck shapes in the mid field, provide a compositional trick to show depth of field.

***TIP FOR THE CREATIVES ***
My Illamasqua blog is coming along nicely it will be posted up later this afternoon.
In the meantime, a little tip is below for all you creatives, I know a lot of you already know this tip but some of you may not so I hope you find it useful.
To create super crisp lines for some of your looks, try using masking tape. I applied two pieces on either side of the face for this look. You can use card to, but that means not having both hands free when applying the make up. For this look I needed both hands free so the masking tape method worked perfect for me.
I do not use them for every creative look but for precision and quick use this is a really great way. I was taught this method by AOFM Makeup when I studied there :-)
