There is a cat in Tim's lap. Not an octokitten, but appears to be a perfectly normal cat. It looks up at him with far too familiar piercing blue eyes and all too familiar metal playing around it's head.

It settles down in his lap, quietly purring, nestling itself against his hand.

Someone appears to have turned the ships archivist into a cat.
