             her smile reels his mind-- & here the mafia boss stood, whiskey hued brows creased in consideration. a king of murder, stoic & taking in EVERYTHING, whilst giving away nothing. dissatisfied. it was written upon hard features, rough & rugged. there was NO indication he was pleased, perhaps even appearing ANGERED, though it was not the case. brilliantly gorgeous blue eyes scanned every aspect of the women before him, though not from desire. wariness; he was no pig searching for a desire most wished. he could see it in her eyes, past a facade of mischief. fear.

                                                        development is my shit!

1. How do they move and carry themselves? Pace, rhythm, gestures, energy?

Nova carries himself very lazily, extremely laid back. He makes himself look approachable and calm to everyone that is around him, especially when he is with his crew. When he’s on missions though he tends to hold himself far better and in a more professional stance; standing straight, pushing his chest a bit out with tentative eyes, and keeping his hands at his sides. On normal occasions, he has VERY little energy in his movements, but the complete opposite when working. He is also far more expressive with hand motions and facial expressions when he is off duty, smiling more, talking with his hands more, etc.

11. How are they vocally expressive? What kind of voice, accent, tones, inflections, volume, phrases and slang, and manner of speaking do they use?

James is vocally expressive by yelling a lot (not seriously of course, he is just a loud speaker is all). He has some old accent that is a mix from his hometown and the Puerto Rican accent he gained from his father, which helps him express short words FAR longer to exaggerate them. He doesn’t use much slang, or very many phrases at that; he just spews out words and hopes that they make sense to someone. He is also very fluent in Spanish and is extremely good at translating it.

21. What kind of relationships do they tend to intentionally seek out versus actually cultivate? What kind of social contact do they prefer, and why?

James tends to seek out friendships that are long lasting and have genuine feeling behind them. He likes to be around people who are interested in the same things that he is; and he honestly does have these kinds of relationships with the people that he is constantly around, every single day of his life, and he is truthfully really h a p p y about that. But he’ll never say that. He prefers to have short conversations when he wants to talk, in bursts of emotion and nothing else. He enjoys these conversations because it doesn’t really require him to think too much, which isn’t very good for him in the long run.

31. Is there anything that counts as a “dealbreaker” for them, positively or negatively? What makes things go smoothly, and what spoils an activity or ruins their day? Why?

Money. Money is a dealbreaker for James. If you offer him a large amount of money, he’ll forget what you did (depending on how bad it was). It is a fault in his own coding, and he IS aware of this; but he has done nothing to fix this thought process of his. And money does make things go smoothly for James, because he has this corrupted thought process that money can fix and buy you anything. What ruins a deal, a day, or an activity is someone being an asshole for no reason to him. When people talk back to him, he gets reminded of a time when he was constantly walked upon by everyone he knew; a time he HATED and never wants to be reminded of.

41. What associations do they bring to mind? Words or phrases, images, metaphors or motifs? Why?

When I think of THIS James, I imagine images of tattoos, bruised knuckles, and big smiles. I don’t know why, but I think it just genuinely fits him and the aesthetic that he goes for!

#26. how do they view and feel about relationships, and how might this manifest in how they handle them, if it does?

jordan falls easily. his heart has yet to be steeled from the woo of a beautiful women, despite his demeanor. he’s terrified of loving. he HIDES IT.

#18. what kind of person could they become in the future? what are some developmental paths that they could take, (best, worst, most likely?) what would cause them to come to pass, and what consequences might they have? what paths would you especially like to see, and why?

jordan’s life goal is to rip the contents of the murdering bastard ( that SLAUGHTERED his family && murdered his little boy ) from his gut and spill his blood through his ravenous hands. after that? he has not thought as far. perhaps he could deter from the path of destruction && conquest for a POWER immense enough to murder the son of a bitch that killed everyone around him. he might succumb to his own aggression, or even to his own grief.

#6. what are they like in motion–in different environments, and in different activities? what causes the differences between these?

in motion, kootra moves like air. a man his size is meant to be TERRIFYINGLY clumsy, but it retrospect, he’s graceful. his hands are steady and they do not shake, && he is cautious with every motion. even so, when he wishes to be VIOLENT, his hands can rip a hole in reality. his physical strength is outrageous, and he can change how GENTLE he is with each passing moment he feels ire well within.
