Some photos from my thu-hike of the West Highland Way:
Loch Iubhair.
The Gaelic name is thought to mean ‘loch of the leper’ or 'loch of the devious one’. Loch Iubhair lies to the east of Crianlarich in the shadow of Ben More. It is about 1.4 miles in length east to west and around 0.3 miles at its widest. There is a legend regarding a castle on the loch, more likely to have been a crannog, but even this has never been located. I caught this shot from the bus as we were driving past on July 20th 2013.
