Ok, so I just lived through the fanfiction scenario that the MC thinks that everybody forgot their birthday and I will never write something like this ever again because it fucking sucks!!

I really thought my mom had forgotten my birthday. Then she went to get groceries and I got under the shower and just cried.

Turns out the morning was just really stressed and she knew it would be so she wanted to do it in the afternoon…

So yeah….
