When Tauke asked the furious team in the changing room during the break to second half of the game against South Korea, upon the discovery of the boycott, “Cuba dengar dekat luar tu!”, and the hall went chanting for Malaysia, I time-traveled right to the Stadium Merdeka in 1980. If I have to choose, this is ultimately the most impactful scene of the musical, as the team learnt to set aside their own need and played for the dream of the nation. Demi Negara.
