Oh man, so in my AU self-ship, I imagine that I get into the BoB because of Avi! We were friends for a long time and he vouched for me because we're BFFs and drinking buddies.
Avi introduces me to Johann and I'm instantly interested in his music. Johann doesn't pay much attention to me at first but I always like hanging out with him and the Void Fish and listening to him play and compose. It gets to the point where I always ask him to play for me before he feeds Fisher because dammit, even though I'm inoculated already and won't forget, his music is too amazing to not be played before it's eaten.
I fall in love through his music. When I'm not hanging out with Avi I'm bugging Johann and bringing him coffee and trying to get to know him. Avi is the one that actually tells Johann "hey, dumbass, she's INTO YOU"
It takes him a while to decide his feelings but he basically confesses at the Candlenight's party when he gives me one of the music boxes he made for everyone. It was simple but really sweet.
