a Concept: jeremy needing to be cuddled after various traumatic events - mostly in his crossover verses bc it's not a tvd thing for him BUT JUST THINK ABOUT IT

DC: he gets beat up (again) while trying to fight crime on his own and he's Not equipped for it and it ends in the batfam just sighing at their weird hangaround who's not a batkid but Loves to hit on/annoy bruce and has shown up very bruised and limping Once Again to force one of them to curl up on the couch with him @crimefightr

MCU: the rest of the avengers put themselves on rotation to be on Jeremy Duty after fights/battles bc they know he needs to be cuddled .. the ensuing mini arguments when they forget whose turn it is

XMEN: idk who's getting stuck w this job but Someone definitely does whenever he dies and comes back

GREY'S ANATOMY: after a hard day in trauma, if everyone goes out for drinks (maybe to relax? idk), no one is ever surprised when jeremy ends up going home w someone bc they Know how he gets sometimes when he's had a bad day

You know that Annika’s wide awake now, in some hotel room upstate where they were about to go to. Her friends, the monsters who would try to follow her from the club, would find a small silent apartment where she had long stopped screaming and Selina could finally think. Annika’s going for a catalogue shoot next week. That’s what they were told and how they could turn their lives around.  

Anni’s sitting on a white damask sofa, facing another white sofa across a heavy coffee table that looks like a big block of wood from Tiny House, Big Living. She’d smoke though a pack of cigarettes and go to the next busy neighbourhood, looking for a job.  

Only when the teary blur comes off on the back of Selina’s hand, only then can she see who had cut through to her. It’s Anni’s blood on the city’s hands that the Batman tries to erase as if three months were enough time. Selina’s memories, all of them about her.

No, Vengeance. No, really, Annika hadn’t even thought about undertakers and service fees.

The port’s her only place of stay now, with the ghost of criminal activity staining the adjacent warehouses and containers. He wants her to say yes, to turn over a new leaf and act like how he expects the image of women to act. He deserves a tight slap across the face. But beyond that, she has no plan. She has nothing, no Fiat Spider, not even a gun.

How can she not laugh. She’s been dead for awhile.

She knew it had been BEFORE , but she was doing her utmost not to let her own MEMORIES overwhelm her . It all seemed like a DIFFERENT LIFE now , and try as hard as she MIGHT to act like she was still the same BARBARA GORDON that she always had been, she WASN'T truly . Whether or not anyone else could SEE IT , it was something she knew deep down inside of herself .

"Arthur?" The voice was small, afraid. Afraid of what had just happened, afraid of the men that had attacked them, afraid he wouldn't get a response from the man laying before him. Lucy sniffled and wiped a hand under his nose, the other shaking Arthur, trying to get him to wake up. "You can get up now. They're gone. It's safe, I promise."

The men had all been dealt with—their own worst fears had been brought to life and sent after them. One ran...the other two hadn't even made it the mouth of the alley. But now it was just them, just him and Arthur, and Lucy would keep him safe—he would—just like Arthur had done for him for so long. He just needed to wake up so Lucy could tell him as much.

Hearing a noise behind him, the boy startled, spinning around quickly to face whatever it was. Another man, this one in funny clothes and a cape. "Go away! Leave us alone!" he shouted, little fists clenching into shaking fists. As he glared, the shadows around them grew thicker, darkness filling the alley, hiding Lucy and the man he swore he'd protect—swallowing them whole. But Lucy was tired, so very tired, and he didn't know if he'd be able to fend off this new man too. He quickly began shaking Arthur again, whispering urgently, "Get up! You have to wake up, Arthur, please!"
