Okay so im still at the restaurant:
Most of his packmates have moved at some point, drifting closer, standing in place — but Chan is just where you left him, sitting across the table, shock-still. There’s an ache to his expression that pulls on your heart: tired, almost resigned, like he already knows this isn’t going to go well, like he’s already thinking of ten different contingency plans.
I feel SO BAD for chan (and for MC too but I already commented on AO3 about her)
After the second time reading the chapter I'm still thinking how all of the boys moved at one point trying to conviced MC to stay. All of them except Chan.
It feels like he knows he just lost? I know he is thinking a thousand ways to fix it but at the same time he knows she needs space and *knowing chan* probably feels like all of this outcome is his fault for not telling her sooner or not planning enough ahead.
Idk if they talk about his guilt in the future but it could be interesting!!! Untll then i will enjoy the angst and make my own story in my head where all of them are happy and together !!!
Hope this is not too long but I love love love your writting. I *unfortunately* relate to the mc alot and how she reacts and thinks to things like love jajsk so i get her struggle to allowed herself to be loved without losing herself in the process.
This asks is going nowhere sorry jajsj
Aww this paragraph you pulled is such a good one for Chan in general 🥰 You're right! It's the stagnancy! 💛 And the perfectionism and anxiety and responsibility... 💛💛 He absolutely feels very guilty! I can't remember if he addresses that specifically, but Chan has some very exciting chapters coming up where they do talk about some of this stuff
They will one day be happy and together! But for now we have the mines 😆 May you take solace in the post-canon one shots hahahaha
It's not too long at all! I'm really happy to hear it 🫶 Thank you for reading!!! 💛💛💛
