Receiving this poem from one of my patients today was very moving. Almost made me believe I was doing something good for them. 🥺 . For those of you who don’t what I do for work, I’m currently a mental health specialist for an acute inpatient unit at McLean Hospital. It can be h*lla problematic, because the mental healthcare system is f***ed up, so I don’t see myself staying here for very long (the pay is also crap).
