reason: [They] were so cute, it was the first time I really connected to the characters in the Skam universe as a lesbian <3 Also for people in the know about Skam, I loved that in Skam España, they changed the adaptation enough to keep to the original Norwegian creator’s original vision of having five seasons for each of the five girls in the girl squad, so the “gay season” felt like it fit in better as it went to the Cris character rather than the Spanish Isak (who was still very prominent in Cris’s season) and focused a lot on Cris and Amira’s friendship as well (the bisexual girl and the muslim girl understands each other so well <3) Anyways rant over, I love this couple and this show so much!

1st Thoughts on E1 of Skam España Season 2

Cris is Isak if his messiness caught up to him way sooner in the first episode (aka the pill situation). like Isak has an internal monologue of being messy the whole series, and Cris is more carefree and outward with it. I kind of like it/her. Now, I know Cris is based on both Isak & (girlsquad) Chris, so maybe it's Chris' outgoing-ness, but she still feels like an amplified version of Isak being "messy".

It's interesting to see the entire weed placed in Sana's bag -> Isak's roped into school revue group & meets Even being extracted/changes to the friendship with C/Amira, being that they know each other & are best friends already (+ that Dani (Yousef) is her brother & is a character already)

Joana's way more chill than our o.g. Even

The movie callout to "Blue is the Warmest Color" already in clip TWO (p.s.-never watched this movie, but the implications of it being a lgbt+ movie are clear)

well Joana is definitely still bold, like Even. Her using "don't songs move you and get your heart racing?" to initiate physical touch. She knows Cris' heart is beating because of nerves & crush feelings, not the song

It's interesting that Joana obviously has the pills Cris is looking for, so I'm curious to see how she reacts when she finds out/if it puts a strain on their relationship/friendship they're building

Dangerous Liasons parallel to the plot??? Yeah, they're definitely making a correlation to Cris having attraction to Joana as in the very next clip, they foreshadow her relationship with Rubén, and she's more interested in the incoming text from Joana (as he's asking her out here + him looking back after they depart, while she's looking straight forward as she continues walking)

They're doing a ton in earlier clips/episode 1 entirely: Cris ditches her friends to hang out with Joana, too + the almost kiss. It's not a bad thing, just interesting.
