Plankton may be a shitty husband at times, but no one can convince me he doesn't love Karen and she's not his No.1 priority.
Because every time he has to choose between Karen and the formula, he will always choose Karen and this has happened at least twice. This man can literally have the chance to make all his dreams come true right in his hands, but if that means he has to lose the love of his life in the proccess, he will give up on it (and try again another time eventually). Because there would be no meaning in anything he'd do if Karen weren't there with him.
He loves and cares about Karen, but has a hard time expressing it the way others do.
Another TADC theory on Jax.
So, I haven't seen anyone else say it yet, but I hc Jax was a hacker in the real world.
Not a big skilled one, just a casual prankster hacker, who would change public wifi names to something inappropriate or hack his friends' facebook profiles and change their cover images.
That could explain why he has the ability to casually obtain any keys in the Circus and why the name he gave himself after forgetting his real one is literally the same as the JAX machine learning library in Python.
Worth mentioning is that the only other character who can spawn small interactive things out of the blue is Kinger, who was confirmed to be a programmer. Kinger made the health restoring butterflies, in contrast to Jax making (or stealing) the keys, which could be a parallel to hacking and invading other users' personal digital space.
Or you know, Jax is simply a cool and edgy sounding name.
Everyone shipping funnybunny, meanwhile I'm here like, yeah, but not that way...
Idk, does anyone else see the vision?
They both give me demi or grey vibes, but what do you, the viewers think?
Episode 6 was a cinematic masterpiece, but I wanted to focus on this specific screenshot, because it looks dope:
The angle, the expressions, Jax's mid-air inverted split, all of it is so perfect.
Random SpongeBob fact #2: NODLEHS ~
In the Plankton movie, in the scene where Plankton describes how he updated Karen, we can see his past self placing some personality chips. When he places the empahty chip, I noticed there is a node that writes "NODLEHS", which reversed is, well, Sheldon.
Additionally, there are a few more nodes that write "BKT" and "CHMBKT" which are short for bucket and chum bucket and "S", "SP" and "KP", which are the first letters for Sheldon, Sheldon Plankton and Karen Plankton (most possibly).
Then there's "E" and "08261", which I'm not sure what they could mean, so drop your ideas in comments and reblogs :)
Real world Jax headcanons (feat. Ribbit)
His name was Jeremy (idk, he looks like a Jeremy to me)
He was trapped in the Circus before the pandemic
He was a 2010s swag edgelord with a sense of humor that would get him cancelled in the 2020s
He loved going to parties and he loved the electronic, rap and popular music of the time
He is a lightweight when it comes to alcohol, but somehow he is immune to caffeine and can chug 2 Monsters at once no problem
He has dyslexia
He never made it to college and cheated his way through school (he was more bored to study than bad at learning, except for when he had to spell things correctly or understand theoretical stuff)
He did programming as a hobby and could do simple hackings (hence why he now has access to all these keys in the Circus)
He worked since his middle teens, which gave him enough money to buy his own motorcycle (see Kawasaki Ninja 300)
He would do tricks and races with his motorcycle which cost him a couple injuries but nothing too serious because he was at least sane enough to wear special gear (he had one of those helmets with the fluffy cover with bunny ears)
He was best friends with Ribbit. In fact, they were so close everyone thought they were dating, which was not true and especially in the case Ribbit was male, it pissed Jax off a lot
Jax and Ribbit got into the Circus together, which explains their matching avatars
Jax is somewhere in the aro spec (demiromantic or greyromantic) and probably bisexual as well, but he simply refuses to acknowledge it. Plus he never cared to learn what these words even mean
He had a toxic idea of masculinity and tried desperately to match an agenda he was not really built for. He lowkey enjoyed more chill and feminine activities Ribbit made him participate in, but he always acted like he didn't
He acted like the world's greatest lover, but in fact he was really bad at sex
He had a couple very stupid (but well made) tattoos that were done by Zooble (good thing they don't remember each other's faces)
That's all I got for now, if I think of more, I'm gonna update this :)
If you think about it, the Plankton movie is a feminist movie.
The main villain is a hurt and many times overlooked wife who takes the matter in her own hands. She really managed to do what her husband only ever dreamed of doing.
She was unstopable, powerful and a real threat to the world.
On the other hand, the heroes of the story are also women. Strong, independent women who had strategy and worked in harmony to save the day.
Trully beautiful :')
