From the desk of our #Founder @cristinaonly1b: Within recent years there has been a surge of major change. I just read that Women account for more than 2/3rds of small business ownership in today’s society. I’m proud to be included in that statistic. In the past few weeks since I’ve stepped into this new corporate VP role, I’ve researched almost every major Fortune 500 company and I’ve seen more women holding high executive roles than our male counterparts. Some companies have not shifted yet. Those companies are suffering from their inability to adjust to the reality of the importance of women in those roles. When I started building my 1st business over 20 years ago, we played more of an assistant role in businesses. Who knew that the trend once again would be set by women. We set the pace for major trends in almost every industry. We force the commonality perception of how we are revered & respected in the workplace. We have gained a bigger voice over the years. You cannot turn a blind eye to our ideas, work methods and execution. To all of my Ladies, Mothers, Wives, Sisters, Founders, Mentors, Leaders, VPs, CEOs, CFOs, CMOs.
