A NEW CHALLENGER APPEARS

Hi!  My art tumblr is dapperowl (also dapper-owl on DA) and I'll be around to do two things--first to discuss personal style, digital inking techniques, presenting portfolio work or any other questions relating to building your skills and career.  Second, I will redlining anatomy, composition and costume design.   I won't do the work for you but I will definitely do my best to push you in the right direction!  My crits will all be under Dapper Crits so feel free to ask questions.  Cheers!

Jade was pretty IC as her stubborn, slightly-mischievous, moderately bratty self.

Karkat was good as well, what with the whole "what I like is amazing how can no one else like what I like" attitude, but I'd advise working on your Karkat voice, as in his dialogue. It's a little clunky and doesn't flow very well.

Personally, I don't think Karkat would be that averse to physical contact, considering they're already matesprits by the time of this fic.

The narrative itself can do with more descriptive padding, compared to X happened then Y happened then Z happened.

Overall, it's a cute little snapshot of their relationship. You're on the right track.
