His little brother could always get a bit hot-headed for someone that looks very relaxed and friendly he could get very aggressive. Even if he knows this he still never sees it coming when his brother just comes out ofnowheree to punch him. Which, he allowed if only because made him feel better and not because lets his guard down a LOT around his family don't be silly-

"Ow, I literally just got here and already you're choosing violence-" The great evil lamented as if it hurt his feelings for his little brother to just punch him. If can ignore the fact this is the same man that has allowed many people to die if get in his way and considers it a regular Tuesday.

Still, it was just a punch and he is sure that it hurt Yoichi's hand a lot more than it hurt him. His little brother was sickly, after all, wasting his energy like that. His hand moves to his cheek as rubs it though nothing showed. His many healing quirks already kicking in and healing the injury if there had been any bruising involved.

"...Are you going to make up for this or do I have to get mad?" He questioned casually. Blank face because seriously how does his handle his little brother. Guess could like take away his things or something....

He felt himself involuntarily flinch at Thirteen's response, hands rising up so he could stare down at them, a deep frown on his face. Damnit. All he wanted to do as a hero was to do good and be seen as good. But how could he possibly achieve both with a Quirk like his? With all the fear he associated with such a potentially destructive force, only kept at bay by two gloves? Impossible. He was careful, so incredibly careful. That didn’t stop him from overthinking the perilous outcome should the spread of his Quirk go farther than intended…

“I know that,” he muttered, folding his arms over his chest, gaze averting from her. As if he hadn’t been told that time and time again. “What if I don’t know how to control my fate? One slip of the hand and I’m done. No one’s gonna trust me as a hero if I mess up or… do something worse.”

“Not really.  I did the math once.  Like...five friends to however many enemies.”  He used to keep track when he was younger.  It made him feel safe, in control, having a list.  Names to look out for in the news or from others.  Then it just took up too much energy.  “I technically made the first when I was still in school.  Didn’t know it so I’ve just been counting since I graduated.”  Such a high success rate had it’s drawbacks.  Especially nowadays.   She was trying.  He knows that, but he’s never been good with people.  Good at connecting.  It always felt a bit like trying to cut nails by grating them on a chalkboard.  They should be closer.  They need to be.  He needs a tight knit group that includes people he didn’t go to school with.  People who were more than just coworkers.  But he doesn’t actually remember how he started talking to friends about things other than the weather or how annoying they were.  He was supposed to be able to do things alone, that was the backbone of his entire career.  “Are you?”  His tone came out more challenging than he intended, but he didn’t do much to soften it other than awkwardly starting to wind scarf around a finger.
