Last night I was thinking about the whole CR rec list thing but didn’t get very far in pulling my thoughts together. One story I wanted to call out, though:
Some months ago, in response to the world pretty much being on fire, @stickthisbig had a donation drive for a number of worthy causes and wrote fics as thank-yous to people who pitched in. The fic topic I requested became “we won’t know the actual (if we never take the chance)” (E-rated, for those who are particular about these things), a Perc’ahlia modern AU about, in brief, Percy falling for the girl at the rock show. It’s delightful and remains a comfort read, particularly since the world continues to be on goddamn fire.
For the record, my donation was to the National Park Foundation. Go toss ‘em a few bucks if you can.
