Seems that fashion trends are shared with Brandon Flowers’s first released single from his new album The Desired Effect, Can’t Deny My Love. The song is a mix of the 70s, 80s and contemporary music respectively, as it takes us back with the conventions of the past, like the background singers featured, but keeps us in the here and now with the sick new drumbeat. He said he was going to experiment and get out of his comfort zone, and he did it. A good start to what is, I'm sure, going to be an amazing album. Think it might be better than Flamingo? We shall see.
