how much fuckin time passes in the series. i mean,,, SERIOUSLY. bc harumi is like fuckin 16 now, but she was 12 or some shit in season 2 so does that mean 4 years have passed ? if so are the ninja actually older or did they get spat out in a different timeline after season 7 ? bc if that’s the case that never got told. and if not are they 20 now ??????

We are more complicated than we are self aware. The cosmos is more complicated than we are aware of its intricacies. Moral-structures are more complicated than we realize.
Western culture has made massive attempts to throw out the old moral structures which our society is built on. Such is the case with the Judeo-Christian virtues incorporated in marriage.
We want to pick and choose the virtues we like, and edit them to our tastes. However, this is dangerous because we are likely to leave behind parts of the architecture necessary to these virtues.
As GK Chesterton states, the roaming and randomly applied virtues do far more damaged than do the vices (sins) in the world. People who embrace charity without truth are enablers. People who embrace material truth without empathy may very well experiment on others without an remorse.
Marriage is connected to more than just emotions. It is a guard against predation, it is an important environmental structure during a child's cognitive development, it is a tool for security, and much more. When sex is enshrined in marriage, it becomes connected to many other aspects than we may realize.
