Oh my god, don’t even get me started on the FFXV car radio.
On the one hand, it was a fun conceit that really made the road trip portions of the game? Kicking back for a minute and watching the bros pantomime a joke to the tune of the JENOVA theme was great from both an atmosphere and a nostalgia perspective.
On the other hand, it was stupidly frustrating how much better the car soundtracks were than the actual score of the game. Call me old-fashioned (because I am) but I lied the days of character and locations themes. I want to know what tunes to metal associate with Arden or Prompto! Is that so much to ask??
