My au idea before that rws video RUINED EVERYTHING.

My f&w postal demon au was loosely based on the original concept of f&w, where the cop protag gets his legs taken over by a slime monster,,,,,,,,, but in my au,, her arm get taken over by the postal demon. it’s not very fleshed (& wired) out,,,,, idk,,,,,, demon can be used as a shield lmao. Rambling under the cut,,,

I like to think the demon moved on to Angel instead of just sticking with the Postal Dude(p1),,,, Angel has a lot of hate and resentment towards the dude,,, so the demon would be very drawn to her (since it feeds on human emotion.. #headcanon yk yk). I feel like either p1 is in the asylum, which means that the dude Angel chases after is an illusion created by the demon,,, or that p1 DID escape,,, but the demon ditched him when he originally got arrested because of the events of the end/elementary school level (demon got pissed that p1 didn’t “complete the mission” so it goes off to find another host) ((btw when I say host, I do not mean that the demon possesses them. it’s more of like someone it stalks,,,, idfk I’ll make a official demon post explaining how I think the demon would be like in Postal 1997 and in general bc I don’t think I’ve actually ever explained my version of the demon much))

Pointless ramble about Genshiken anime incoming

I've been watching though the Genshiken anime with a friend , and a scene in Genshiken 2 (ep 21) caught my attention bc they threw in two disgaea references back in like 2007 (I almost didn't catch the hanako reference at first bc they gave her angel wings)

But now I can't stop thinking about the surrounding scene that this reference is in. I was initially curious if this reference was in the corresponding chapter of the manga(ch 33), which was unlikely as disgaea 1 only came out in 2004, and this chapter is from 2005, so at the very least the hanako reference couldn't have been there. But I found that this entire scene was also missing, with all the genshiken guys discussing what Ogiue would be like as a dating sim character, going so far as to openly speculate about her "h scenes", not knowing Ogiue is there listening in on them. I suppose it isn't really above some of the guys in genshiken to be weird about the girl members in private, but the whole scene just felt really gross and now I'm stuck wondering if it was just made up whole cloth for the anime, or if it was moved around from elsewhere in the manga? I can't remember where that scene might've been, and as much as I'd enjoy reading the whole manga again that'd certainly take a while lol. idk just weird little thing that's bugging me!!

Noodle update! This month he escaped from his tank twice and was missing for a total of 5 days before I found him. He then got a new (more secure) tank with a hammock and he loves it 🥰 He continues to be a sweet curious little guy who is obsessed with my glasses and still hasn't a single braincell.
