Critter Sitter vs House Mouse
Today is August 3.
Just today I booked a gig for the third week in October! This morning I finished a gig which had been booked only a week previously!
I have been reflecting on my ability to stay flexible. And my need to find another like minded individual who is loved by animals. As the length of time I have been doing this increases, so to does the number of times I have experienced the need to decline a gig due to availability.
I have also been blessed with clients who are willing to work around existing scheduling conflicts. A perfect example of this: I was scheduled to be in Bismarck for my brother's godmother's 100th birthday party. The client scheduled an additional individual to cover the 12 hours I was expected to be away. I was gone 10 hrs, instead of the expected 12, but the client's flexibility was a blessing!
Additional reflection has been given to the House Mouse portion of my business. As yet, I have not scheduled any house sitting gigs that do not include the pet(s) as the main focus! However, the name has added two new clients in the past month - because of its uniqueness!
Kudos to my friend Jennifer of 2Js Graphic Design. She was the impetus behind my adoption of the name Critter Sitter & House Mouse!
Do I need to post a link to a calendar displaying my availability?
