Future plans.

Graduation was coming up and it wasn’t the upcoming exams that were stressing out Damien, making him pace the dorm back and forth, surely driving his roommates crazy, and biting his nails (which was something he tended to avoid at all cost). No, the source of stress was what was coming after the exams. He is quite certain that everyone he knows have already decided what they wanted to do after graduating, and it didn’t matter if that thing was to travel before finding a real job or getting hired right away. It was still a plan. But a plan is what he was lacking. He had years to come up with one, to figure out what he was going to do after graduating and here he was, still lost, not any closer to getting an answer to the problem.
It is with this strong feeling of helplessness that he made his way through the streets of Hogsmeade, deeply lost in his thoughts. He wished he could have talked to this with his roommates, but he didn’t dare bring it up. He felt like that would be admitting a weakness and there was no way he was going to show any, even if those guys had known him for 11 years now and have seen him through good and bad times.
He is pulled out of his thoughts when his feet stop in front of a door. He glances up and notices the sign of the Three Broomsticks. A drink, he decides, might help him figure things out. He pushes the door and steps inside, thankful for the minimal number of students since most of them are currently spending more time studying at school than visiting a pub. As he makes his way between tables, he notices a familiar face and hesitates before walking over until he is standing across from his herbology teacher.
”Mr. Moon,” he says as he rests his hand on the back of the empty chair, “I am sorry to bother you outside of school hours, but may I sit with you? There are a few things I would like to ask you, if that’s alright?”
