          There is a look in his eyes as though he SEES her-- though that should be impossible.  How long since any man in this marsh had SEEN her?  No, they feel prey to her voice readily and went down without so much as a fight. 

          -- Could it be then?  That he was her MURDERER?             ( Rage whispers in her ear: he must be, to look upon her fearless. )

   Her song halts entirely, and the entire marsh goes still in answer.  No sound, not even the chirp of a cricket, to disturb them.  “ -- Was it you? “  And her voice shakes and trembles, illusion of her silhouette against the half-light cutting through the canopy.  “ Why did you do it?  How could you? “  and she does not see his face-- she cannot recall the face of the man who BETRAYED her.  But surely it must be HIM, right?  Finally.  

   What’s that saying about the scene of a crime?  Has he returned to gloat?  All her murderous anger has left her, for just an instance she is filled to the brim of her soul with illusory tears.  ( Golden curls fall about her shoulders, the more into focus she comes the easier it is to make out what no individual who has met their end here has seen:  A girl, whose dress is stained with gore.  No hideous demon, what the villagers had imagined.  Just a girl. ) 

    “ How...How could you?  I gave you...everything... “  && oh she is filled with vitriolic wrath again, rage that shakes her to her core.  “ I’ll kill you for what you did to me! “  Shrieks the spirit-- BLINDED by hate, how many lives has she taken now?  His will be the one that puts her at peace, she thinks.

does one even have to ask? steaming hot for a human, with rippling muscles (he loves a strong partner) and a head of white hair, and oh my goodness, he has such a weakness for beards. not to mention, the man has magic in spades--he’d love to try out some of that hellblaze in temperature play. plus hendrickson is on the older side, and the thing about age is that it usually means experience. he’s all about this sort of thing. for the love of the white lion hendy, please hop on his dick.

Quiet was as eerie as the sound of voices belonging to the deceased; goosebumps rode on her skin from not the cold, but dreaded anticipation. In her arms, the dog of a civilian who had gotten separated in the chaos of running, it’s lead wrapped many a time around her arm for the sake of preventing a repeat. Down the street she tiptoed, clutching the pet firmly, with only the excitable panting to ward off complete, maddening silence.

Back to the wall, they awaited at the turn from one face of the salon to another, a corner around which she dared to peek. Only the one could be found, and not undead.

His presence was reassuring, though not without fret that the lack of others insinuated. Enough it was to coax her out of the shadows, keeping watch of their surroundings from all angles as best she could. “Is the area clear? Being out here alone is reason to believe it’s possible, but no-one else has appeared. Unless something brought you back here despite the risks”.
