I have not crocheted in ages! But I bought this tarot card polar fleece and bought a cutting wheel that makes little slots - so I have to roll the edge with the crochet stitches. The fleece is so soft that I used a piece of cardboard to make sure I got the hang of the single crochet first - I actually basted some of the edge down so I don’t have to split my concentration too many ways at once as I get started.
I like the way the stitching looks from the back, so I will end up ripping this out, steaming the wool, and working from the ‘top’ side to finish the edge. I was going to just do regular blanket stich for the edge, but this will look so much better.
