now I’ve finished the 16 octagons and 9 rectangles, and gosh it’s taken so long, and in the meantime I’ve let it slip to my mom that it’s her present and uggghh I can’t keep a secret😭 it’s taking so much time tho and it’s so much more work than anticipated that my hands r literally falling off and I’m scared of permanent damage but anywayyy😍 HERE IT IS, close to finished!!💓

I don’t know why, but I get such a great sense of joy whenever I finish off a skein of yarn. Probably because it’s such a visible sign of progress...
