🐉 Tuesday WIP 🐉

Now this WIP isn’t related to any fanfic that I’m currently writing. I’ve been otherwise preoccupied with a project that has an exact due date, and I’m really freaking proud of myself for getting as much of it done as I have!

But thank you to @missfortunetherogue, @saylofwaterdeep, @eliwyntorleth, @baelthi-vp, @optimisticgrey, @theendofanerror, @thesanguinesonnet, @asorceresswrites, @kt-catt, and @archduchessgortash for all of the WIP tags!

I am always battling my sisters for the title of “Best Aunt” and “Aunt of The Year” because, well, I just am, god damnit! My nephew’s birthday is coming up and a few weeks ago the boy had asked me for something rather specific over a FaceTime call, haha!

“[Cinder], I really want you to make me a dragon that will sit on my shoulders!!”

How could I say no to that?! I was there when this kid was BORN, he is the coolest little dude- in my expert opinion!! Of course I immediately got on Ravlery and found this badass “Shoulder Dragon” pattern that he approved of, and his mom sent me the colors that he wanted!

Many trips to Hobby Lobby and waiting a week for custom eyeballs to arrive from ETSY later, I have gotten nearly halfway done with the boy’s Shoulder dragon. I could not help myself and made it twice the size the pattern called for, though… which makes it that much fucking cooler IMO!

Another project I finally finished last weekend: my sacred heart/chain breaker bag! I got the pattern for the sacred heart from a vintage pattern library, and I designed the chain pattern myself. The lining is… not great because I’m bad at sewing lol, but it’s a functional bag now and I can’t wait to use it!
