Finished crocheting my first sweater ever! Also, I'm 29 now. (Yikes.) 🌸🌸🌸🌸 I started this sweater on the 23rd and finished it today on the 29th (7 days wow!) I'm still going to add pockets to it, but I definitely don't feel like doing that yet because it means sewing fabric onto yarn, and I'm TIRED. I stayed up till 4am last night trying to finish this thing for my birthday lmao. 🌸 But yeah, I didn't follow any pattern, just made it up as I went along and measured as I went along and just hoped it would all fall together nicely, and it did! The fit is perfect. It's also weird having the holey stripes, because I can feel the cool air gushing in through there, but because the yarn is warm, it's just weird? Like being hot and cold at the same time. 🌸 The yarn is Loops & Threads Flecks and I LOVE IT SOOOO MUCH. It only took 2 skeins of each pink colour to do the main body of the sweater! (And 1.5 of the Dollar Tree Premier yarn for the black trim.) Which, just blows my mind, because you look up a pattern for a sweater and it's always like "10 skeins of yarn required" like who tf can find 10 skeins of the same colour yarn in a store?? Anyway, I love the yarn and it's soo soft and gentle against my skin. Also. Thumb holes. 👍👍 My birthday was meh. Got to go out for a coffee and muffin. But that's okay, because I was extremely depressed and anxious anyway, so anything more than that would have probably been too much for me to do. Right now, I'm starting up Cyberpunk 2077 again since it's been a hot minute since I played last, but I have to try and sleep earlier tonight because I have to walk to my therapy appointment tomorrow morning ughh. While I currently have a back spasm going on. Dunno if I'll be able to make it there, but I'm going to try. It's super painful to walk faster than a snail's pace.
