Tiny Headband Pattern Available

I wanted to practice writing patterns. A couple of people really enjoyed my video. So I decided to make a pattern for it. The pattern is free on my ko-fi shop and save on Ravelry. it's ko-fi.com/louiwanders

I am English style and will probably never change. I wanted to try both for my colorwork project. Which style do you knit with?

At Blerdcon, I bought from several vendors. I mostly like to shop with artists. It is also important to shop with small businesses too. I am really bad at collecting information from artists. If you recognize the artist let me know and I will give them a shout out.

I went to Blerdcon this last weekend. This year was my first time going to this convention. I enjoy being around like minded people of my own people. When I go to a cons, I mainly go to the panels. It makes it worth the money spent for me. The panels were a little shaky on Friday. By Saturday, things were better. I only wish there were more options that I enjoy. I usually enjoy workshops or the history of a certain topic. Besides that, I enjoyed my time.

Dk Sock The Last Parts

Just before I did the heel, I put a save line in. Finished the increase portion. Completed the decrease and I now have Both heels. I put a little pattern on the top part of the socks too. I'm almost done!

Game: Tiny Garden

This game instantly reminded me of my childhood toy. This game does include decorative pieces to play with and it consists of a garden as well. You build your crop by planting more crops and figuring out how to make different soils. Criticism for the demo: I couldn't figure out one soil so that I could gain more crops (I might have hit the limit of the demo???). Some plants stop creating their special soil after a certain point. Note: The demo doesn't save your progress after a certain point and will start over.

It says the game will come out April 8, 2025. Available on Steam (not sponsored)

Flapper Hat

I am trying to create a 1920s-style flapper hat called a cloche. I did the main part of the hat now I have to figure out how to do the brim without it looking like a bucket hat, lol.

Fixing Bowler Hat to a Beanie

My original idea was a bowler hat. But it ends up being too short, meaning not covering my ears. I decided to frog the brim of the hat. I reworked the edge by decreasing it to fit close to my head even though I used the wrong hook size. I completed the hat with a slip-stitch edge and the leftover yarn as a pom pom. Regardless, the hat covers my ears now and that was my main goal.
