This is my 2nd attempt at a copy in my sketchbook. Original painting is at the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, and I went and compared two different times. Overall I’m happy with the outcome but there are some differences, skin tone being the biggest one. I feel that this painting went more smoothly than my previous copy attempt and while in the process of finishing this painting, things started to make more sense to me - I had more clarity and understanding of the process, which has been quite a learning experience.
