HSWC Bonus Round 1: Remember when Cronus wanted to do something classically humanly romantic for Roxy, so he got a boom box and held it under her window on a warm summer night? (And maybe his song choice wasn't totally spot on)
Ahhh, yes! I've long dreamed of having the opportunity to write about Cronus failing at things, but having decent people around to fall back on and help him grow from his experiences. I tell you, it was a struggle not to write a long thing about his character development and coming around from what-an-unpleasant-ass to being sometimes-a-selfish-jerk-but-not-a-horrible-person and pressing on to wow-he-can-be-a-misguided-screw-up-but-basically-a-decent-guy. This kinda drops into the middle of that evolution, but I really do feel like Roxy would be one of the few people patient enough to help him along that path.
Also, I ascribe to the view that early in that character development path, if someone WAS nice to Cronus, he'd start pushing at them hard to see just now nice they were actually willing to be.
