Meet this week's Guest Curator @staygrayponyboy aka Matt Dawson. Matt is a multidisciplinary graphic designer, illustrator, and typographer now based out of Austin, Texas. • He has over a decadeʼs worth of experience in branding & identity design. He has worked with clients both big and small including Disney, Jeep Motors, Under Armour, the Atlanta Braves, and more. • While his focus primarily resides in crafting identity solutions for clients across the world, he celebrates all things creative. In fact, he is the founder of @cropcons, a biannual creative conference series that has gained international recognition in just 3 short years. • Twice a year, Crop & PopUp Crop bring in top artists, designers, letterers, illustrators, and creative entrepreneurs from across the world for multi day events featuring workshops, keynotes, parties, and more. The challenge this week is to letter one of your favorite 2019 Crop keynote speakers 🙌🖤. . When I saw the prompt, hands down I had to letter one and only the sweetest badass Lauren Hom @homsweethom 💕. . She’s super badass when it comes to lettering and business but has the sweetest voice and personality when she talks, am I right? 🙋🏻‍♀️🖤. . Absolutely love her work and she’s the main reason I got into lettering. My very first lettering piece was by doing the very first #homwork assignment. Plus, thanks to her @passiontopaid class, I got to launch my very first passion project (@universe_buddy ) 💫✨. .
