taught myself to notch cross beams for a canvas today! i’m so proud of myself. it was a lot more time consuming than i expected, especially bc i only had a coping saw, instead of some fancy mechanized thing. i followed this lady’s advice, and this video about notching. i did kind of a janky job but i think it’ll hold up well enough. :)
