X3 Manga Inspiration - 2 of 4

Skipping further ahead in the issue, some of the things Zero, Dr. Cain and X say about the actual environment of Tunnel Rhino’s stage REALLY helped me out in the planning phases for this segment.

In my rendition, rather than having our main heroes nerd out about this stuff, I had the Mining Unit discover it, and serve as necessary cannon fodder.

Then a little further below, skipping straight to the Tunnel Rhino fight, you can see that I didn’t do much with the dialogue, however I was definitely inspired by that awesome “Cross Kick” Double Team move that X & Zero perform.

So bam.  There ya go.  That’s where that came from.
