These days there are two emotions from two paintings very present within me as one impression about our global now. These two feelings I witnessed while painting two different cross-creatures on rice bags in China. The stegosaurus in 2010 in Shanghai where I felt the earth creature underneath Pudong Skyline responding to humanity and in Beijing I painted the unforbidden flight of a ladybird creature. In Beijing I felt for the first time i m done with dinosaurs, grown out or sthg, that was in 2011. While absorbing the spirit of the city with my inner eye a huge ladybird invited me for an unforbidden flight. The size of that ladybird was as big as the forbidden city and the spine of that space-ship-beetle was made of the portal gates of the central axis of the forbidden city. This spectacular ride of freedom I streamed into the painting. And now the interplay of these two cross creatures I did a decade ago is like a catchy tune / ohrwurm on my inner screen during this transformational shift humanity is experiencing in this now. https://husar.solar/ladybird oilcrayons and acrylic on joined rice bags /2010/2011 on both journeys I took a gold plated #umbilicalcord from a desert-goat and a gold plated #brush with me. They are linking to my previous work and supported me in contacting these #crosscreatures to arise in my perception. I joined the rice-bags because I learned that technique from the nomadic people. They make tents and stables from their empty salt-/flour-/corn-bags. 📸From Shanghai: @susannejunker (hier: Shanghai, China) https://www.instagram.com/p/CbC_zg4gJJJ/?utm_medium=tumblr
