A Tale of Spirits - Chapter 19: Bread Crumbs is LIVE
Here's chapter 19! It's a long one, practically two chapters in one, so be prepared! I hope you enjoy the chapter!

A Tale of Spirits thoughts and sneak peek!
So, I'm actually really excited for the next few chapters. Like really, really excited (hopefully I'm not overselling it). Anyway, here's a sneak peek of chapter 19.
Side note: Every time I write in Sokka's POV it tends to be long.
Like always this isn’t the final edit (although it’s very close to it. I’m just going back and forth on the wording of a few sentences.)
SNEAK PEEK
(Sokka POV)
Sokka fumbles with the stack of scrolls and kicks the door open. Katara looks up from her sprawled position with Toph but doesn’t move to help. He scowls a bit, he expects this sort of attitude from Toph, he’s learned by now that the earthbender is a bit of a jerk, but Katara? The earthbenders a bad influence, he thinks. Sokka dumps the paper on the closest table and drops to his knees. “Alright, I did some digging and I think I’ve found our in.” He grabs a brush and pulls the ink close. “I talked to some of our neighbors, the ones that would answer anyway, and the King has a birthday-.” He voice trails off as the emptiness of the room catches up to him. “Where’s Aang?”
“He’s in the courtyard with Leo.”
“Let me guess,” Sokka groans. “They’re meditating?”
“Don’t be a downer, Sokka,” Katara says. “It’s good that they’re bonding.”
“Yeah,” Sokka grumbles. They just seem to be bonding all the time now. “It’s great, whatever. Where’s Raph? I need to talk spirit business with one of them.”
“Ponytails out there with them.”
“What!”
“I know,” Toph yawns. “Who knew he could be so boring.”
His fingers tap rapidly against the table. Aang doesn’t need to hog two spirits to sit around and do nothing with all day. One could be doing something useful. Like talking to generals, or getting information from locals. Or sparring, he thinks.
hi!! does wanted to clarify, does april have a symbol on her wrist like the turtles? i remember you mentioning something about her being “scarless down to her elbows” but i can’t find that post anywhere. anyway love the new chapter!!!!!! i was on the edge of my seat the whole time!!!
Thank you!! I would like to say that Sokka's part has been edited. Just a few paragraphs add in the middle to create a better flow before the appearance of a certain someone.
Now, on to April! No, she does not have a mark because she is not originally part of the contract. She touched Donnie when the deal was activated and she had to claw her way across dimensions (or voids) to get to the Avatar world.
The implication is that she's pretty much stuck there unless she can leave with the boys.....Who aren't aware that she's there, but who knows for long they'll be in the dark 😉.
Unorthodoxx: I'm not gonna to The Snap in my RotTMNT x MCU crossover, it would be too sad. Unorthodoxx: *does The Snap in their RotTMNT x MCU crossover*
In all seriousness, I’m surprised I wrote it too. I REALLY wasn’t planning to.
