Mario and Luigi: A Fairy Undertale. Would you take read this fanfic and take this challenge within said fanfic, but with Inverted Fate setting? I think that this fanfic idea is more interesting than "A Shift in Fate" any day. Just saying.

Nah. A Shift in Fate is co-written by myself and the creator of Storyshift, so I’m not just gonna scrap it for some fic I’ve never heard of. Voltra and I also happen to be good friends, so that’s half the reason the crossover happened in the first place.A Shift in Fate isn’t dead, by the way. We’ve toyed with revisiting it once the Storyshift doc is complete and fully released.

A Shift in Fate is a crossover with Preboot Storyshift. What happens to it when the reboot comes out?

It gets rebooted, too, but we’ll keep the old version up anyway.

When will the next episode of the StoryShift Crossover will be out?

Don’t expect it for a long time. Storyshift’s reboot changes a lot, and the crossover will need to be reworked accordingly. Plus, due to plot elements in the reboot, releasing it now would risk spoilers. Essentially, we gotta wait for Storyshift to progress first.

Are you and voltra continuing your crossover at some point in the future?

Don’t expect it for a while, considering the reboot is still in early development. And given how much is due to change, that means the nature of the crossover likely will, too.

Is A Shift in Fate dead? Or just on a hiatus?

Indefinite hiatus, just like Storyshift. It probably won’t continue until the reboot potentially comes in.

Is any of "a shift in fate" canon? I know it's just a fun fanfic, but Flowey meeting a living asriel and another flower, actual character development for Bloogie (a bit), and the whole thing taking place while Shifty is in the Core and beyond? It seems like an episode of a TV show which is put in for character development and with a fun "What if" situation that is barely ever mentioned again (I know too many cliches for my own good).

Good question! A Shift in Fate is its own canon, rather than to either comic. That is to say, it is its own continuity. A way to explore characters and what-if scenarios, but ultimately its own entity.On that note, we know it’s been a while since the last update. There have been complications keeping us from working on it for a while, so for now it IS on hiatus, but we do plan to resume it eventually. I’ll make sure to note it on the page.

you must be working very hard on ether the next chapter of a shift in fate or the next update because you haven't answered anything on the askblog for a while. cool I can't wait til the two frisk's meetup in a shift in fate I honestly wonder what will happen. and new updates are always fun. so keep doing what your doing

I apologize for the lack of crossover updates and ask blog updates! Admittedly, part of it was simply due to me spending four or five straight days working on Sans’ fight, and I just needed some time to unwind. I also gotta figure out which asks to respond to next, as I have over 150 to go through on scinanigans alone.Here? Nearly 300. They just keep piling up, haha!As for the crossover proper, Voltra’s currently hard at work on the next Storyshift update, but rest assured, it is not dead. We’ve plotted lots and lots, and I may do some crossover-related doodles to tide you over. Any particular characters you folks would wanna see visualized together? IF Frisk and SS Chara are high on the list, but I’m definitely thinking of doodling the moment when Pap and Frisk crash-landed on poor SS Alphys, too. Hm!
