The voice was low and sultry, creeping from the shadows of the so called temple in which the tainted soul resided.  The darkling fae had never understood the concept of religion that the humans tormented themselves with.  Redemption was something beyond their capacity, and guilt was something that they heaped on themselves in spades even without a god to blame it on.  

"Have you grown weary of your attempts to save the misbegotten and forelorn?" Her silhouette appeared as she emerged from the corner of the chapel; aquiline features and glittering golden eyes appearing first before the curling horns crept into view behind her.  

"Or is it perhaps that you have the desire to confess your sins to something darker even than yourself?"  The tone was light, but easily laden with the disdain that she felt for such acts.
