So yesterday I tried to steal my own bike and rode with the rear wheel disc lock on. The disc lock hung on and broke some parts of my brakes. At least I know this lock works and can possibly make my bike unrideable for thieves. So I’ve been on a hunt for hours for the part. The part is out of stock at dealers and is on back order from Kawasaki. I and scouring the Craigslist, Facebook marketplace for the rear comp-holder-caliper part 43044. Does anyone have an 2008+ Ninja 250, 300 or 400? It’s the same part number and assembly for all these bikes. I cannot be out of commission for weeks, this is literally my life. Also, the disc lock is now jammed in my rear rotor so I have to grind it off.
