So basically, it's still an utter mystery why my bag was getting so heavy. I suspect it was probably the incredibly small snail shell.

Took a lovely trip to Oregon this weekend to see the Welcome to Night Vale live show with @tamber-tales! Saw some very good birds at the Cascades Raptor Center, had some tasty savory waffles and doughnuts (Voodoo Doughnuts, my beloved), and got a mink skull at a flea market. The show was amazing - this was my third WTNV live show, and I think it was my favorite (but admittedly I might be a little biased, since it's about crows).
