I really adore the depiction of the differences between og Jttw lore and lmk's lore as told from the seer's perspective it is really nice to see a fic of the isekaish nature acknowledge potential differences and when they were rambling I had yet another oh no they're just like me fr 11/10 will read again
It was fun writing about it. Honest to god, I was obsessed with Macaque's character when I was in high school. The amount of content I consumed of him was ungodly.
It's a bit fun (and weird) to acknowledge that the story won't be 100% accurate to JTTW. It forces me to either bs the blanks or wait out for the full story. I've gotta figure out how the story went in LMK because it doesn't follow JTTW. Like who was the demon that Guan Yin had to flush out? It wasn't Red Son, that's for sure.
Some demons in LMK never appeared in JTTW. Spider Queen, for example. She doesn't actually exist in the original JTTW text. That's a whole ass thing only for LMK. The Scorpion Queen, however, is definitely based off the Scorpion Demoness that the group encounters in the Kingdom of Woman arc.
Dealing with the difference is so fun but DAMN DO I KIND OF HATE IT LMAO
