assuming this is about my post about laughing how captain carter died in mom (which i put in the anti peggy tag, not her tag) i really can't stand hayley or peggy at this point. i'm tired of marvel including her in places where she's literally not relevant, when there are like 1000 other marvel women that could be introduced to the mcu.
to preface, i used to adore peggy. she was my favorite marvel character hands down, i had the 'i know my value' quote as my senior quote in the yearbook, religiously watched agent carter, etc. i even met hayley at the first comic con i went to:
i had been so excited to meet her and cosplayed as sharon carter from ca: the winter soldier, and got a photo with her before her panel. (this was like the same month civil war came out) almost the entire panel hayley talked about how steve/sharon was disrespectful and basically did nothing but bash the character i was cosplaying as. i felt really insecure after her panel, and even heard some people make funny comments about my cosplay (while it wasn't hayley's fault that those people were rude to me) but there was no reason to bitch about steve and sharon that much, rather than just talking about what she enjoyed about her own show. it ruined my first con experience <3 she's also said ugly things about emily vancamp/sharon carter at other comic cons. as well as said poc need to 'wait their turn' for representation.
and as far as peggy goes, literally everything about her in the mcu was based on other characters in 616 comics. the writer's of ca: the first avenger talked about how there was barely any source material for peggy and so they took from sharon carter in the comics to flesh her out. peggy is also partially based on the character cynthia glass- who was the agent involved with project rebirth, who steve called his first love, and was also a nazi spy. in 616 (before the mcu changed it) peggy was a blonde chick who fought nazis, and was really just backstory for sharon carter. here's cythia glass compared to mcu peggy:

in the comics, she didn't found shield (she wasn't even a shield agent) nick fury founded shield, she wasn't the love of steve roger's life sharon carter was, and she sure as heck wasn't a super soldier/captain carter. and that's not even mentioning the things that she did in the mcu, she hired zola and other nazis, let them rise to power, and probably knew about shield doing horrible things like they did to isiah bradley and ava starr. and she shot at steve after some woman kissed him?? and what they've given peggy in the mcu has destroyed sharon carter's character in the mcu, when she's been the love of his life in comics for 60 years:
and all of this has led to emily vancamp/ sharon carter fans being treated absolutely horribe by mcu fans. not sure if you know how bad it was when civil war came out, but emily and other fans were both getting death threats because steve kissed sharon. (hayley's comments at comics cons helped fuel this) i even remembered getting hate from other peggy stans bc i simply liked sharon and didn't hate on her. (and i'm not even getting into steve's ending in endgame and how they turned sharon into a villain in tfatws)
tldr, i used to love peggy until i picked up a comic book. she literally had no relevance before 2011. i'm so fucking tired of marvel bringing her back and giving her traits from other characters in the actual source material. we don't need more peggy carter, she's already had her time to shine. i want other women that haven't even gotten their mcu introduction yet (or have been treated badly) to get the respect they deserve.
Hide and seek sucks for justin. Ava can turn invisible, yelena is a trained spy that uses stealth to her advantages, john is a spec ops that trained in stealth and misdirection, zemo can blend in witb crowd very well.

he's just doing his best, tinkering with his gadgets and literally all of his teammates are trained killers, terrorists, or have some sort of weird powers.
for hide and seek, after about thirty minutes he just literally gives up and goes to hang out with valentina and sharon (bc they're the only people around that aren't completely juvenile and one or both of them always have some sort of alcohol). or blonksy, bc he kinda can't participate in hide and seek. and fifteen minutes after that, ava appears out of nowhere behind him and scares the crap out of him😂

honestly this is also canon😂 I'm not sure if he's actually encountered anyone with magic/powers besides the flag-smashers (but they were just super-soldiers)
bonus if he doesn't believe Ava can actually disappear on her own, and thinks it's the suit that does it. and so Ava has to prove to him otherwise, and after she does, she definitely pops up everywhere he goes just to annoy him
John walker totally memorized the "to be or not to be" monolog to impress olivia
so true🥺💕 john was definitely a major dork around olivia in high school. I feel like around everyone else, he was probably very charming, confident, popular, but whenever olivia would talk to him, that boy would freeze up like a deer in headlights and could barely form a coherent sentence skdkd
High School AU with SamBuckySharonZemo be like: Zemo is totally that rich new exchange student that is very selective who his friends are. People either love him or hate him, no in between. He probably irritated Bucky so much that Bucky was ready to throw hands had Sam not rush in to calm him down while Zemo then checked out Sharon, who probably rolled her eyes at him. Cue a not so good meet cute led to Zemo being like “They’re my friends now” while the other three just gave up and went with it
okay but I have thoughts about a high school au! so bear with me
staring with zemo: I feel like maybe his father brought him to america bc things got too bad in sokovia, and he doesn't have many friends and is adjusting to living in a new country. he's captain of the fencing club, and sometimes hangs out with justin hammer. he is also kinda friends with sam and bucky. (he totally has a fake id and can buy them alcohol) zemo met sambuckysharon when they all got assigned to a group project together, and sharon and sam basically had to do all the work themselves.
and another thing about zemo, is that he hates steve. no one knows why bc steve is a generally nice guy but zemo can't stand him. so sam and bucky will constantly try to get them to fight bc they think it's funny skfsksf. sambucky: "hey zemo you should go fight steve today." zemo: "you know what, you're right! I should go fight steve😈😈" and zemo gets his ass beat by steve at least once a week. but that doesn't stop him from also flirting with steve's girlfriend: sharon
I feel like he wouldn't think too much of her at first. he simply flirts with her to piss steve off. but then one day during p.e. or something, some guy tries to harass her (probably rumlow) and sharon decks him in the face and puts him on his ass. and from then on zemo has the biggest crush on her...
now sharon: is the ultimate overachiever!! she has straight a's, the president of a bunch clubs, never done anything wrong in her life. she's best friends with natasha and her little sister yelena (who's a freshman when the rest of them are juniors/seniors) she also hangs out with john/olivia/lemar from time to time.
and she's been dating steve since before high school, and dating steve means having to hanging out with sambucky literally all the time. and sambucky are literally inseparable, they sit by each other at every class. if bucky gets detention, sam just goes to detention to hang out with his boyfriend and no one questions it (bc sam is class president and all the teachers love him❤)
so, at the start of senior year when steve dumps sharon (to date her older sister peggy or something, still hate endgame steve for that) she's devastated! bc steve/sharon were the ultimate couple and had been together forever. now she has to deal with the aftermath of everyone knowing and making fun of her.
when zemo finds out that they broke up, he thinks that it's finally a chance but at the same time, doesn't really make a move. bc even though he likes sharon, that doesn't mean he's going to talk to her. it's more, he's a d!ck to literally everyone but her! he likes to bully john walker every chance he gets, but if sharon is with john, he keeps his mouth shut and doesn't say a word. but one day right after the break up, he finds her in the hall and her face is red and he asks what's wrong.
A thunderbolts series or movie would be the perfect chance to introduce more obscure villains. Like while the avengers are dealing with galactus or something, the thunderbolts are dealing with the trapster, or tarantula who is spiderman but actually shoots webs out his butt.
yes omg! even though I feel like the mcu messes things up at times tbh😭 don't get me started on the mistreatment of my girl sharon carter but it is really fun to see the characters adapted into live action, and I can't wait to see thunderbolts/dark avengers/whatever team we see valentina forming in mcu
for a thunderbolts show/movie I would love to see arcade as a villain at some point!! he's always been one of my favorites, and he's quirky enough that it would be interesting to see him go up against a team of bad guys/anti-heroes (i like to think that maybe him and 'murderworld' already exists in the mcu somewhere👀)
