B - biggest fear: Spiders. I know its typical but what can I say those creepy, jumpy, eight legged things unsettle me. If I was going to go deeper I would say death, just because I’m lately exploring the idea of how it could just mean the great beyond is just nothingness.

C - current time: 8:46 PM

D - drink you last had: chocolate milk (yum) :)

E - easiest person to talk to: I’d say my close friends Kris and Gabby

G - grossest memory: I’m a nursing student, so anything gross I’m thinking hospital related. Once a old guy asked for my number in Wal-mart? Also gross.

H - hometown: Toronto, Canada

I - in love with: no one yet!

J - jealous of: people who can socialize. Like be that person that people say, “Yea she’s just so awesome to be around.” kind of thing. Energetic funny people to be precise.

K - killed anyone: Hmmm would I really tell anyone if I did?

L - last time you fought a bear with 6 legs and a chainsaw: There are bears in Canada, but they mostly leave you alone. I don’t know anything about 6 - legged bears and chainsaws but I try not to discriminate.

M - middle name: Don’t got one. My parents were lazy naming me. My aunt gave me my first name.

N - number of cupcakes you can eat in eleven minutes: I haven’t done this dare but probably a lot. Maybe one a minute? Who knows??

O - one wish: No more wars would be nice.

P - person you last called: my friend Gabby

Q - question you always get asked: “Where are you from? Not Canada? I know you’re born here, but like your people? Like your background?? Oh you’re tamil, never heard of it.”

R - reason to smile: In some parallel universe I might be hot and be dating a celebrity (hopefully tom hiddleston).

T - time you woke up: 7 AM had school

U - underwear color: black

V - vacation destination: Ideal one: Europe? Backpacking? I’m really clueless in this department. I think traveling works most places as long as you’re with the right people and you plan it right. That’s what makes the experience worthwhile. Solo traveling is also fun if done right.

W - worst habit: Being too quite. I lose the chance to make new friends that way. I hate being like that, but I suck at the talking thing.

X - x-rays you’ve had: None?

Y - your fave food: CHEESECAKE

I've been struggling with depression since I was eight. My best friend is away at college in DC. Also, I recently went for a biopsy of a tumour and it's cancerous. I don't know how to tell her that I'm sick again.

Dean here. First off I am so sorry to hear about that news but I know you can fight this and get through this - you are so strong. I know telling people can be really hard but they are your best friend and would want to know this. I would suggest telling her in person if you can and if not maybe you could Skype each other? Seeing each others maybe better than doing it over the phone.

Have you thought about seeing a counselor about this? It can help to have someone to talk to about both your depression and the new diagnosis. I found this website that might help you with telling your friend (x)
